Required
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in designing and implementing storage architecture.
• Capable of recommending hardware and software to meet departments' storage of shared files and folders as well as virtual environments.
• Experience with protocols and limitations related to NFSv4, CIFS, s3 compatible object store on NAS filers or SAN
• Support and troubleshoot filesystems on Windows and Linux OS’s NTFS, jfs, xfs, ext3 and ext4, fat, exfat.
• Experience with NetApp, TrueNAS, QNAP filers configuring shares, establishing quotas, and reporting on space usage
• Experience with NetApp migration reconfiguration and provisioning of storage on demand.
• Experience with authentication, authorization and automount on Linux and Windows systems.
• Configure shares, quotas, authentication, and authorization using IPA/LDAP/Fluency in scripting, upgrading firmware and software updates.
DESIRABLE
• Familiarity with VCenter to attach Storage Systems and, provision Linux and Windows based VM systems.
• Familiarity with data replication between devices and sync of data across locations.
• Familiarity with configuring Storage devices for accelerated caching and moving data/datastores across devices and authentication realms and file systems.
• Familiarity with AD/Azure-AD and IPA/LDAP integration.
