Description:

The Cybersecurity Sr. Specialist support cybersecurity operations by designing, developing or recommending secure technical solutions, including policy, standards, applications, systems, architectures, and infrastructure that are operationally viable and efficient.

Ensure appropriate application of security products and technologies to protect the organizations systems and information and enable achievement of the organizations objectives.

Manage and design innovative integration of cybersecurity toolsets to enable more automated discovery, remediation, and alerting of network and device vulnerabilities, as a means of improving the security posture.

Perform analysis of emerging technologies and design and build architectures and solutions to enable secure implementation of new technologies.

 

Duties:

Develop a risk-based cyber security program which meets regulatory requirements and aligns with industry leading information security practices.

Perform threat identification and mitigation activities using industry leading security controls and tools sets.

Advance the Company’s cyber threat and vulnerability management program to ensure consistent identification, analysis, response, and monitoring of cyber security threats, events, and vulnerabilities.

Assess threats to the business and deploy countermeasures for those threats.

Collaborate with business units, application development teams, and third-party vendors to achieve program requirements while enabling the business.

Apply technical knowledge to protect the Company against cyber threats (e.g., knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, data loss prevention solutions, endpoint protections, log aggregation technology and other leading-edge security technologies).

Facilitate cross team coordination to achieve defined security goals as well as meet technical requirements in support of detailed implementation plans for security projects. Manage security projects to ensure the timely, on budget, and effective implementation of cyber security improvements that are operationally supported with validation methods in place to measure effectiveness. Perform assessment of cyber security incidents to identify the root cause, respond, and recover the environment.

Develop strategies, policy and standards to protect company information and technology assets.

Manage capital and operational expense budgets to ensure accurate forecasting and administration.

 

Required:

At least 5 years of experience but typically 7 plus years of experience is required.

Possess expertise in valuing and implementing industry standards such as the ISO 27001/2, SOC 2, HITRUST and FedRAMP

Information Security standard and the ISO 22301 Business Continuity Standard.

Experience with implementation and operational use of GRC toolsets (Governance Risk and Compliance).

Possess CISSP certification (or similar) and be knowledge of national and international regulatory compliances and frameworks such as ISO, SOX, BASEL II, EU DPD, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.

Description:

This role is responsible for end-to-end design of complex, integrated, enterprise security solutions and deep integrations at all levels with a focus on the Cloud, Mobile and Application Security CoE’s. This is a key technical role that will lead / support a multi-functional team delivering solutions to many different business organizations.

 

The Cloud Security Architect role is responsible for gathering business and technical requirements from our internal customers and reconcile such with security requirements from various security architecture teams (from network to application layers) to design and secure operationally viable security solutions. This role provides leadership, facilitation, analysis and design tasks required for the development of the enterprise’s cloud and technical infrastructure architecture.

 

Additionally, this role is also expected to create deliverables that help develop target-state guidance for evolving the technical reference architecture across the enterprise for both cloud and on-premises (reusable standards, patterns, guidelines and platform configurations) in order to enable business strategy and deliver successful business outcomes.

 

Job Description:

·         Designs and develops security architectures for cloud- and cloud/hybrid-based systems across all types including Infrastructure, Platform and Software as a Service (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS).

·         Designs and implements cloud-native architectures and designs (based on business requirements) that will allow those requirements to be met with a minimal degree of risk to the organization and with appropriate security controls present.

·         Represents the security platform in development and implementation of the overall global enterprise cloud architecture while acting as the ambassador and senior technical representative for Enterprise Security, engaging with other senior technical leaders throughout the organization.

·         Develops security standards while working in partnership with Engineering, Infrastructure Services and Application Development organizations to choose appropriate technology solutions, and facilitates complete integration into the company environments.

·         Identifies, recommends, coordinates and delivers timely knowledge to support teams regarding security technologies, processes or tools.

·         Partners with other leaders across the business to identify opportunities and risks and deliver solutions that support business strategies while protecting intellectual property globally.

·         Develops and executes strategies to increase cloud security knowledge throughout the enterprise.

·         Responsible for the end to end architecture for cloud security solutions involving multiple public cloud stacks (e.g. GCP, Azure) and large internal cloud platforms.

·         Responsible for translating the functional design into the security architecture for the solution.

The Sr. Systems Analyst will be directly involved in supporting multiple labeling systems at the infrastructure and software support level. This role is critical for supporting Final Packaging Labeling which is printed on demand for Abbott Medical Device manufacturing.
Manager is looking for very good communication, people and technical skills. (Network, System Administration, Analysis, server configurations, customer and vendor interaction at the same time). Someone that can jump into details, help determining and coming with solutions.
Education: Bachelor or equivalent experience
Preferable 10 years of experience but not necessary
100% on site
Temporary position – 1 year

 

Final Packaging and Work In Progress (WIP) Labeling

 

Support and System Administration

1.       L2 support for Labeling users through ServiceNow / email/ phone

2.       L2 support for USA and other regions for Labeling

3.       System infrastructure and configuration documentation.

4.       Create/update KB Articles for Final Packaging and WIP Labeling

5.       Custom reporting from database and other sources of data.

6.       Perform scheduled infrastructure maintenance (password updates, etc) tasks.

7.       Coordinate with Infrastructure teams for labeling needs.

8.       Coordinate with infrastructure teams for patching of the OS and Databases.

9.       Execute software installs.

10.    Create and maintain shell scripts for starting, stopping, and monitoring of Labeling services.

11.    Monitor and maintain performance tuning of Labeling applications.

12.    Maintain service account profiles used for starting/stopping labeling applications.

13.    Communicates effectively with management to enhance understanding of opportunities and limitations of current systems and procedures

14.    Communicate with Labeling vendors for system issues and potential enhancements

15.    Develop technical disaster recovery plans and participates in testing. 

16.    Designs, tests, and implements system changes through a formal Change Management process

17.    Develops and runs formalized Quality tests for required system enhancement/break fix activities

 

Qualifications:

 

·         Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience

·         5+ years of technical experience

·         Microsoft SQL database experience is a plus

·         Excellent communication and customer service skills.  Able to bridge communication between technical areas

·         Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.

·         Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.

·         Training and experience in good test design; experience writing test cases and reviewing/approving the execution of those test cases
