Responsibilities:

Plan, design, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for 4G LTE and 5G NR technologies, covering functional, performance, stress, regression, and interoperability testing.
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Python, Robot Framework, Selenium, etc.).
Identify, analyze, and document software and hardware defects clearly and concisely in a bug tracking system.
Collaborate closely with development, system engineering, and product management teams to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure product quality.
Set up and maintain test environments, including configuring network equipment, base stations (eNB/gNB), user equipment (UE), and test tools.
Perform log analysis and debugging to identify root causes of issues.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in 4G/5G technologies and testing techniques.
Generate test reports and provide timely feedback on testing progress and results.
Participate in test strategy and test plan reviews.
Potentially contribute to the development of in-house test tools and utilities.
 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum [Specify Number, e.g., 3-5] years of experience in testing 4G LTE and/or 5G NR wireless technologies.
Proven experience in developing and implementing automated test scripts and frameworks.
Strong programming skills in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Perl, Shell scripting).
Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks like Robot Framework, Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.
Solid understanding of 3GPP specifications for LTE and NR (e.g., Layer 1, Layer 2, Layer 3 protocols, call processing, mobility management).
Experience with various testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Spirent, Keysight, Anritsu test equipment).
Familiarity with IP networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, UDP).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
