Job description:

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Abinitio developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ETL processes using Abinitio suite of products. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Designing, developing, and implementing ETL processes using Abinitio.
Collaborating with business users, data analysts, and other developers to understand requirements and develop solutions.
Building and maintaining efficient and reliable data pipelines to move data across systems.
Writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for data extraction and transformation.
Optimizing and tuning ETL processes for performance and scalability.
Troubleshooting data issues, debugging code, and providing recommendations for resolution.
Documenting technical specifications, unit test cases, and implementation details.
Providing support and maintenance for existing ETL jobs and processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as an Abinitio developer or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of ETL concepts and processes.
Proficiency in Abinitio suite of products including GDE (Graphical Development Environment), Co>Operating System, EME (Enterprise Meta>Environment), and Conduct>IT.
Experience with UNIX/Linux scripting and scheduling tools.
Solid SQL skills and ability to write complex queries.
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and techniques.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with other ETL tools and technologies.
Knowledge of data modeling concepts.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Certifications in Abinitio or related technologies.
