Automation Engineer/ Architect Utility Domain Must

Title:    Automation Engineer (8+ Years) / Architect (12+ years) Utility Domain

Location: California

Duration: Long Term

Visa: GC, USC

Responsibilities:

·        you’ll play a key role in developing and implementing critical Real-Time Power System Applications while working with vendors to resolve application issues.

·        Develop, test, and maintain Real-Time Remedial Action Scheme (RAS) applications on EMS & UAP.

·        Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

·        Contribute to projects that power our planet, reduce carbon emissions, and create cleaner air for everyone.

·        Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

·        2+ years of engineering experience.

·        3+ years of coding experience in C, C++, or C#.

·        Strong troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications: 

·        Experience with SCADA and control systems

·        Knowledge of networking and infrastructure for resilient systems

·        Experience with Linux shell scripting & network traffic analysis

·        Familiarity with GOOSE protocol
