Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior IT Recruiter with a strong background in full-cycle technical recruiting within a consulting or staffing environment. The ideal candidate has deep networking connections with both candidates and hiring managers, and a passion for matching skilled professionals with impactful roles. You’ll play a vital role in growing our consulting team by sourcing, screening, and placing top-tier IT talent for clients.
Key Responsibilities
Source, screen, and place qualified IT professionals across a wide range of technologies and roles (developers, QA engineers, UI/UX designers, cloud engineers, etc.).
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with candidates, clients, and hiring managers.
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of talent using platforms such as LinkedIn, job boards, networking events, referrals, and social media.
Collaborate closely with the business development team to understand client needs and deliver timely, high-quality recruitment solutions.
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle — from intake calls and sourcing through interviews, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
Negotiate compensation packages and manage expectations on both client and candidate sides.
Represent Tech Interacts at industry networking sessions to grow our presence in the IT and consulting community.
Maintain accurate records and activity updates.
Provide ongoing market intelligence including hiring trends, competitive benchmarks, and talent insights.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a technical recruiter in a consulting or staffing firm environment.
Strong understanding of IT roles, technologies, and the consulting business model.
Previous experience recruiting for companies in similar markets is required to effectively understand IT job market trends and client needs.
Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency with ATS systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple open roles simultaneously.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
