Experience and Skills: The role requires 7-10 years in digital and IT, with at least 3 years of stakeholder management experience. The SA should have substantial technology experience, preferably with a background in software engineering, and be able to work in virtual teams across different time zones and cultures. They should be delivery-oriented, with a focus on agile and product-focused delivery. Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture methodologies such as TOGAF and architecture tooling like Bizz Design, PowerDesigner and ArchiMate modelling standard.
In summary, the Senior Solution Architect at Shell plays a crucial role in ensuring that IT solutions are well-designed, compliant, and aligned with the company’s strategic direction. They work collaboratively with various stakeholders, manage natural teams through squads, and ensure that solutions are future-proof and meet all regulatory and compliance requirements.
