Job Title: Senior AI Developer Programmer Analyst 

Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid – 2 days onsite, 3 days remote)

Client: State of Michigan – DTMB, Agency Services for DHHS

Work Schedule: 40 Hours/Week

Rate: $55/hr on C2C

Years: 10+ to 12+ Years

Visa: H1B, H4EAD, US CITIZEN (PASSPORT NUMBER MANDATORY)

Interview Process: Onsite interviews at the Lansing office (face-to-face required)

 

The Senior AI Developer will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying AI and machine learning solutions to support the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). The successful candidate will work in a hybrid environment, contributing to AI projects that enhance business processes through automation, NLP, computer vision, chatbot development, and cloud-based solutions.

Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and deploy AI/ML models using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and Scikit-learn.

Design and implement microservices to support AI-enabled applications.

Build natural language processing (NLP) solutions using SpaCy, NLTK, and Hugging Face libraries.

Implement optical character recognition (OCR) and document processing solutions using Tesseract, Google Vision API, or AWS Textract.

Develop and enhance chatbot solutions using Dialogflow ES/CX, Google Assistant SDK, or other Google Cloud conversational AI tools.

Integrate AI solutions with existing systems via RESTful APIs and webhooks.

Work with large datasets using SQL, R, and Pandas for data processing and analysis.

Design and manage cloud-based solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Collaborate with teams to develop web-based interfaces using Angular, ReactJS, and JavaScript frameworks.

Program within the JBOSS Enterprise SOA environment, including JBOSS Workflow.

Adhere to CMM/CMMI Level 3 software development processes.

Implement agile development practices including test-driven development (TDD).

Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

 

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the following areas:

AI/ML development using Tensor Flow, PyTorch, Keras, or Scikit-learn.

Micro services development.

NLP libraries including SpaCy, NLTK, or Hugging Face.

OCR technologies such as Tesseract, Google Vision API, or AWS Textract.

Python, Java, and JavaScript programming.

AI/ML concepts and application to real-world problems.

Designing and managing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) solutions.

Development in Angular/ReactJS and JavaScript frameworks.

JBOSS Enterprise SOA environment and JBOSS Workflow.

Working within CMM/CMMI Level 3 processes.

Agile development, including test-driven development (TDD).

Additional Requirements:

Minimum 3+ years of experience creating CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

Hybrid work schedule – must be local within 1.5 hours commute to Lansing, MI.
