WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Technical Requirements and Certifications »

ITIL trained/Certified.
Certified in any SAM program (CSAM) (Desired).

Education and Experience »

15+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow – SAMPro Process Implementation.
Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in Hardware and Software Asset Management lifecycle and Software License Compliance Management.
Expert in data management tools (MS Excel, Smartsheet’s, MS Access).
Experience with SAM Pro.
Client wants someone who is more functional then technical and someone with 15+ years experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities »

Strong understanding on various publisher licensing models (i.e. Processor based, Core based, Floating Users).
Should have excellent knowledge on building processes and procedure documents and explain the possible outcomes of each process with SAM process.
Know SQL data schema and query writing.
Very strong focus on process and ability to document procedures.
Expert in complex publisher licensing i.e. Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, VMware, Symentec (at least any one).
Must know about different data attribute required to calculate license consumption.
Ability to work with data from various systems to locate information such as Contracts, purchase records, license agreements, etc.
Basic understanding of different discovery tools (i.e. ServiceNow Discovery).
Exceptional communication skills (English language).
Ability to effectively manage people and process.
