Senior Service Designer

Job Description
The Senior Service Designer will be part of the ATS User Experience (UX) team, collaborating with UX strategists, researchers, and designers to define intuitive, human-centered employee experiences across digital platforms. This role involves working with cross-functional stakeholders—executives, product managers, and engineers—to drive meaningful, inclusive, and scalable design solutions that enhance the overall employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
Lead: Champion and evangelize human-centric, inclusive design using the company’s design thinking framework. Represent the employee voice and inspire teams to elevate digital experiences.
Simplify: Translate complex user needs into clear, practical design solutions backed by research and aligned with business priorities.
Visualize: Communicate ideas effectively through strategy decks, storyboards, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes. Clearly explain design rationale to a wide audience.
Execute: Manage end-to-end design processes with attention to detail and organization. Define UX goals, coordinate work streams, and deliver designs on time with high quality.
Inspire: Demonstrate thought leadership, creativity, and proactive engagement in evolving the design culture.
Required Skills and Experience
7+ years of professional experience in UX, product, or service design
Proven expertise solving complex UX problems for enterprise applications
Strong understanding of design systems, patterns, and accessibility standards
Skilled at defining workflows and producing pixel-perfect designs
Experience managing multiple concurrent design projects
Confident presenter to executive-level audiences
Flexible for meetings across California and European time zones
Fluent in English
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in employee experience design or internal enterprise tools
Background in UX strategy, service design, or human-centered design leadership
Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design thinking and execution
