Role: Senior SAP Functional Consultant

Deerfield, IL(Day One Onsite)

Job Description:

Strong hands-on experience in configuring and supporting SAP functional modules.

Ability to work in an agile development environment and collaborate with business teams.

Functional expertise in SAP FI, SAP CAR, SAP MD, SAP MF, P2P, PTP, MDG, and experience with integration processes using SAP PIPO.

Solid understanding of end-to-end SAP business processes and cross-functional dependencies.

Experience working with SAP BODS for data mapping, validation, and transformation (functional involvement).

Knowledge of SAP ABAP and SAP UI5/Fiori for understanding technical specifications is a plus.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to translate business needs into functional requirements.

Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Familiarity with test automation tools like TOSCA is a bonus.

Comfortable working with databases (SQL, NoSQL) from a functional reporting or validation perspective.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead the implementation, optimization, and support of SAP solutions to align with business goals and ensure top-tier performance.

Drive process enhancements and system configurations within SAP FI (Finance) and SAP CAR (Customer Activity Repository) to support efficient financial and customer data operations.

Collaborate with stakeholders to design and improve processes involving SAP Master Data (MD), Manufacturing (MF), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Purchase-to-Pay (PTP), and Master Data Governance (MDG) modules.

Coordinate with technical teams to facilitate successful data integration and transformation using SAP BODS (BusinessObjects Data Services).

Oversee seamless integration of SAP systems using SAP PIPO (Process Integration & Orchestration), ensuring consistent data flow and communication across platforms.

Analyze and resolve functional issues in integration processes, supporting efficient cross-system performance.

Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, gathering requirements, defining functional specs, and supporting UAT and go-live activities.

Maintain high data quality, compliance, and governance across SAP modules in alignment with enterprise standards.
