Oracle Apps DBA (Hybrid – Sunnyvale, CA)

Location: Onsite – Sunnyvale, CA (3 days/week hybrid; candidate is expected to be in office thrice a week to all days depending upon client requirement)

Years of Experience: Up to 10 Years

Must Have Skills:

Good understanding of Oracle products including DB, EBS, Fusion Middleware, and Exadata.
Experience with Oracle EBS migration/upgrades, security patch analysis, and OS upgrade.
Good understanding/commitment to learn of other middleware and/or open-source software.
Good understanding and experience implementing SRE principles.
SRE experience including scripting in Python or Shell, automation, monitoring, OS and network troubleshooting, and GitHub.
Implementation/Upgrade experience for Oracle DBA, Oracle EBS DBA, Oracle Fusion DBA technologies.
Strong communication abilities.
A strong aptitude for acquiring new skills.
Extensive experience in implementing diverse solutions and products.
 

Key Responsibilities:

Act as an Oracle Apps DBA with an implementation mindset, focusing on analyzing and implementing new solutions.
Provide multiple options and solutions for given scenarios.
Participate in the development and deployment of cutting-edge applications, systems, and processes.
Document processes, configurations, and solutions to ensure knowledge sharing and scalability.
Support and train team members on the adoption of new technologies.
Contribute to an SRE organization, applying SRE principles and practices.
