Role – Oracle Apps DBA
Contract duration – 1 year + high possibility of extending multiple years.
Onsite – 5 days
Location- Pleasant Prairie, WI
Experience required – 13+ yrs profiles
Additional details below:
1)Comple onsite work all 5days a week in Wisconsin
2)Dress code – Mon to Thursday – formally dressed up (wearing tie must for male candidates).
3)Make sure candidates are willing to relocate, travel resources are not considered. (note – Candidates must be available from day 1 of joining for the 5 days complete onsite work)
4)This will be long-term projects with multiple extensions; hence candidate relocation is must.
Required Skills
• Excellent Understanding of Oracle database and Oracle Applications 11i and R12/R12.2 concepts, architecture, related utilities, and tools.
• Monitoring the application related products like oacore, oafm apache etc.
• Bouncing apache, oacore, oafm if needed
• Establish and maintain backup and recovery policies and procedures.
• Take care of the Database design and implementation.
• Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges).
• Work as part of a team and provide 24×7 support when required
• Perform general technical trouble shooting and give consultation to development teams.
• Interface with Oracle Corporation for technical support.
• Patch Management and Version Control.
• Maintaining and Patching Oracle Applications using adpatch and adop.
• Perform database tuning and performance monitoring.
• Perform application tuning and performance monitoring.
• Performance Diagnostics and Tuning for Oracle databases and Oracle Applications.
• Performance Diagnostics and Tuning of Concurrent Programs.
• Cloning DEV and TEST from PROD.
• Day-to-Day Oracle database and Oracle Applications Administration and troubleshooting.
• Administration of users and responsibility assignments.
