Job Summary:
We seek an experienced Microsoft 365 Migration Engineer / SME to lead the planning, execution, and support of M365 migration projects. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft 365 services, migration strategies, and best practices for email, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams migrations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead M365 migration projects from on-premises Exchange, Google Workspace, or other platforms to Microsoft 365.
Design and implement migration strategies for Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Teams.
Utilize PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting during migrations.
Assess existing environments, perform pre-migration audits, and ensure smooth cutovers with minimal downtime.
Configure and manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange Hybrid, Intune, and security policies in Microsoft 365.
Work with stakeholders to ensure compliance with security, governance, and data protection policies.
Troubleshoot and resolve migration issues, performance bottlenecks, and post-migration challenges.
Provide documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to internal IT teams.
Required Skills & Experience:
10+ years of experience in Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and related migrations.
Strong expertise in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, Teams, and SharePoint Online.
Hands-on experience with Exchange Hybrid configurations and cutovers.
PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
Experience with migration tools like Quest Migration Manager, BitTitan, SkyKick, or ShareGate.
Knowledge of M365 security & compliance (DLP, MFA, Conditional Access, Defender, etc.).
Familiarity with networking, DNS, and identity federation (ADFS, SAML, OAuth).
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Certifications (MS-102, MS-203, MS-500, AZ-104, AZ-305)
Experience with Teams Voice / Calling Plan migrations
Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot and AI integrations
