IT Risk and Compliance Analyst | Contract | New York or Chicago

 Job Title: IT Risk and Compliance Analyst with 11+ Years

 Location: New York or Chicago (Hybrid – 2 days onsite/week)

 Duration: 6-Month Contract

 About the Role:

We’re looking for an IT Risk and Compliance Analyst to join a growing IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team. You’ll support regulatory reporting, risk and issue tracking, root cause analysis, and help improve internal processes using modern tools like AI and automation. Great opportunity for someone with solid communication skills and an interest in risk, compliance, and IT operations.

 Must-Have Skills:

·        Experience in IT or Risk Management

·        Strong communication skills – especially writing reports for senior staff

·        Knowledge of ITIL framework

·        Some project management experience

·        Degree in a technology-related field

 Nice to Have:

·        Experience with DataDog, JIRA, or working with compliance teams

·        Familiar with IT GRC, credit rating agencies, or regulatory reporting

·        ITIL or Project Management certifications

·        Experience using AI tools (like ChatGPT or Responsive.io)

 What You’ll Do:

·        Help with regulatory reports and audits (ESMA, SEC, etc.)

·        Respond to client/vendor risk questionnaires

·        Support root cause analysis and help build a Known Error Database

·        Help maintain accurate incident and asset data

·        Assist with reports and presentations for executives using AI tools
