Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management or IT Security.
Strong understanding of IAM concepts: provisioning, authentication, authorization, federation, and governance.
Hands-on experience with IAM tools such as SailPoint, Okta, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, or Azure AD.
Knowledge of protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP, and Kerberos.
Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python, etc.) for automation and integrations.
Preferred:
Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Security+, or vendor-specific IAM certifications).
Experience with privileged access management (PAM) tools like CyberArk, BeyondTrust, etc.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud IAM.
Experience with Zero Trust architecture.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated IAM Engineer to join our cybersecurity team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Identity and Access Management solutions to ensure secure and compliant access to enterprise systems and data. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support user lifecycle management, access provisioning, authentication strategies, and audit readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage IAM solutions including user provisioning, de-provisioning, role-based access control (RBAC), single sign-on (SSO), and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Develop and enforce IAM policies, procedures, and controls.
Manage directory services (Active Directory, LDAP) and integrate applications with IAM platforms.
Automate identity lifecycle processes using tools like SailPoint, Okta, Azure AD, CyberArk, or similar.
Collaborate with security, HR, compliance, and application teams to ensure proper role mapping and access governance.
Monitor, audit, and report on access rights to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., HIPAA, SOX, GDPR).
Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related incidents and service requests.
Stay updated on latest IAM trends, tools, and regulatory requirements.
