Duration : 12 Months Contract

C2C rate: $51/hr max

Summary:
The main function of a non-IT project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc or any other non-IT based project.

Skills:

Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
Proficient in computer software, such as MS Suite including MS Project and Azure DevOps.
 

Typical task breakdown:

Control Meetings, gathering tasks from team members, updating project plans, analyzing data from changes made to project plan (week over week variances, critical path analysis, etc).
Understand/implement scrum working with team members for continuous improvement, prioritizing work and having an understanding of the customers backlog and needs.
Be able to take complex information and break It down into smaller, understandable, actionable pieces of work.
 

Education & Experience Required:

4-year Bachelor’s degree with 5-7 years of project related experience.
Previous Automotive experience is needed 
Agile/scrum master experience
Traditional waterfall project experience
 

Technical Skills

(Required)

Must have recent Microsoft Project/Dev Ops experience and will be asked to demonstrate.
