Cyber Security Project manager

Project/Program Manager IT 

Location: East Peoria, IL

Duration: 12 Months Contract (Potential to be extended)

Work: In office 5 days a week

Education & Experience Required: 
– 10+ years total experience in project management
– A college or university degree with a technical focus is highly desirable. In addition, ten plus years of progressively responsible job-related experience in multiple business units are typically required
– Master’s degree with minimum 7+ years in Project management

Technical Skills 
(Required)
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required to deal with sensitive issues,  develop others, or influence others inside and outside the department to take specific actions
– Should have strong project management skills, team leadership skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical and organizational skills
– Professional training in leading and facilitating meetings is highly desired
– Ability to work well with a geographically distributed team

(Desired) 
– Project management (PMP and/or SAFe) certification
– Experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies
– Understanding of Cybersecurity, various tooling/technology, Network, Infrastructure and Cloud technologies
– Knowledge/understanding of Application/software development life cycle (SDLC), ITSM/ITIL processes
– Understanding Risk management, Vulnerability management and ISO 27001, Security best practices, etc., is a plus
