Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong hands-on experience in AWS, Python, and SQL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving technical excellence, solution design, and delivery across cloud-based and data-driven projects. As a SME, you will be a key contributor in shaping architecture, ensuring best practices, and guiding teams through complex technical implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the technical expert in AWS cloud services, Python development, and SQL database management.
Design, develop, and optimize scalable cloud-native applications and data pipelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture, recommend solutions, and implement best practices.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Drive innovation by staying up to date with emerging technologies and incorporating them into project strategies.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely solutions.
Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, estimate effort, and provide technical recommendations.
 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong expertise in AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudFormation, etc.
Proficient in Python for backend services, automation, or data engineering tasks.
Solid understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).
Experience in designing and deploying scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions on the cloud.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, etc.) is a plus.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
 

Preferred Qualifications:

AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Developer, or DevOps Engineer).
Experience with data engineering, ETL pipelines, or analytics on AWS.
Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Prior experience working in an agile environment.
