Job Description:

·         Should be able to coordinate with multiple teams and aggressively follow-up on issues till closure.

·         Should be good in Troubleshooting, monitoring and guide others in team

·         General operational expertise such as understanding of system’s (cluster) capacity, bottlenecks, basics of memory, CPU, OS, storage, and networks.

·         Sound knowledge in Unix based File System, Master of Unix commands

·         Should have good experience in BigData Application/Platform support

·         Hadoop (MapReduce, Yarn, Spark) and Hive skills. This is the most essential requirement

·         Should be good in troubleshooting MapReduce jobs

·         Should have good knowledge/understanding on Kafka, HBase, Couchbase, ElasticSearch, Realtime Streaming

·         Should be good in scripting (Shell & Python) and automation (automating daily activities)

·         Should be good in log monitoring, analyzing and providing remediation steps

·         Ready to work over weekends/odd hours
