Position: Data Engineer

Location – Remote US

Headline:

Seeking a Skilled Data Processing Specialist with Cloud Expertise and Strong ETL Experience in a Dynamic,

Collaborative Environment

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics,

Analytics, or a related field

• 1-3 years of experience in data processing activities, in any of these technologies: Public Clouds,

Lake House, Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Data Marts or other data processing tools

• A minimum of 1-2 years (preferably 3+ years) of experience with ETL/ELT and cloud-based data

processing tools

• Proficiency in one or more enterprise databases or data processing engines, such as (any)

Redshift, Snowflake, Oracle, MS SQL, Hive, Hadoop, Spark, etc.

• Experience 2 years with pySpark and Python for Data Processing using Spark-based Data Platform

(Cloudera, Databricks, EMR, Synapse)

• Experience participating in sprint and sprint planning meetings

• Attention to detail coupled with the ability to quickly learn, assess, and evaluate new processes

and procedures.

• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills

Desired

• Familiarity with at least one public cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their respective data

& analytics products and platforms

• Proficiency in shell script programming within Linux/UNIX environments

• Expertise in DevOps tools, including GitHub/GitLab, Jira, and Confluence

• Experience in Migration projects, Data testing and Code unit testing

• AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications
