Requirements:
Technical Skills:
Extensive expertise in Python, PySpark, Spark architecture, and deep
experience with performance tuning and optimization.
Advanced proficiency in designing and writing optimized, performant
SQL queries and stored procedures.
Comprehensive expertise in AWS data engineering stack, including
Glue, Lambda, API Gateway, EMR, S3, Redshift, and Athena.
Proven experience in architecting and deploying scalable, secure,
and high-performance data pipelines and solutions.
Experience in managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS
CloudFormation and Terraform.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
Good to have working knowledge and experience with Unix/Linux
scripting and administration.
Soft Skills:
Demonstrated experience leading technical teams, driving technical
decisions, and mentoring junior to senior-level engineers.
Exceptional ability to translate complex business/functional and
technical requirements into clearly articulated strategies and
implementation plans.
Superior communication and interpersonal skills, capable of
presenting technical concepts effectively to diverse stakeholders.
Comfortable managing and prioritizing multiple projects
simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to deliver high-quality, timely results with strong
accountability and ownership.
Strive to provide technical leadership, mentorship to engineering
teams, managing tasks and projects using JIRA, overseeing team
management, and ensuring best practices in data engineering and AWS
implementations.
