Detailed JD :

The Project Manager will develop and finalize a comprehensive Project Management Plan and Schedule within 15 business days of PO issuance, detailing methodologies, strategies, and deliverables. Responsibilities include overseeing the NG-911 call routing project across 67 counties, coordinating with counties and NGCS providers for seamless integration, monitoring and reporting progress, and addressing any obstacles. The Project Manager will attend and support ECB, internal, county, and regional meetings, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of NG-911 efforts, and providing technical assistance to ensure compliance. Collaboration with Department staff, statewide 911 coordinators, and all stakeholders is essential for the successful implementation and support of NG-911 initiatives.

Scope of Work Summary

Project Management Plan

•              Initial Meeting: Within 5 business days of PO issuance, Project Manager to meet with Contract Manager.

•              Project Management Plan:

•              Detailed execution plan including methodologies, strategies, standards, and approaches.

•              Description of deliverables resulting from activities.

•              Project Schedule:

•              Schedule of project activities with due dates.

•              Maintenance and modification of the schedule as agreed upon.

•              Finalization: Project Management Plan and Schedule to be finalized within 15 business days of PO issuance.

Project Manager Responsibilities

•              Collaborate with CPMO and BPS to support 911 functions.

•              Oversee NG-911 call routing project and statewide transition.

•              Coordinate with counties and NGCS providers for seamless integration and training.

•              Monitor and report progress, addressing obstacles.

•              Attend ECB meetings and support BPS staff.

•              Support internal, county, and regional NG-911 meetings.

•              Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NG-911 efforts.

•              Provide technical assistance to counties and regions for NG-911 compliance.

•              Assist CPMO and BPS in report and plan production.

•              Present updates at executive team briefings.

•              Support other 911-related tasks as directed.

Collaboration

•              Work collaboratively with Department staff, statewide 911 coordinators, ECB, and all project stakeholders.
