Job Title: ETL Lead
Location: Providence, RI – Onsite
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled ETL Lead with strong expertise in Informatica, SQL Server, and data warehousing concepts to lead the redesign and optimization of ETL pipelines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming legacy ETL processes, ensuring high performance, reliability, and alignment with business and data architecture standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the redesign of ETL pipelines to transition from Sybase to SQL Server.
Analyze and refactor existing ETL jobs to update source and target configurations.
Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across all ETL processes.
Optimize performance of ETL jobs for large-scale data loads using best practices.
Implement robust error handling and logging mechanisms in ETL workflows.
Collaborate with data engineers to align ETL logic with updated schema and transformation requirements.
Validate ETL outputs against both business requirements and legacy data.
Work with scheduling tools such as Control-M to manage ETL job execution.
Minimum Mandatory Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with Informatica ETL tool.
Proficient in SQL Server, including integration and performance tuning.
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL best practices.
Experience with scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M).
Ability to analyze and optimize existing ETL pipelines.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ETL migration or modernization projects.
Familiarity with Sybase source systems and schema structures.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
