Role: Manual QA Tester
Duration: 6 months
Location: Hybrid setup: Onsite in Mesa, AZ every Monday and Thursday (Please only share local candidates)
Visa: No H1, OPT
Interview: Possible onsite
Must have experience with manual testing, Azure DevOps / TFS, Postman, SQL or PL/SQL,
This is a manual testing–focused position ideal for someone who excels in detailed validation, requirement analysis, and test execution across functional and regression scenarios. Candidates should have strong communication skills and enjoy collaborating within a cross-functional Agile environment. Automation exposure is a plus, but not a requirement.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze business and technical requirements to design comprehensive manual test cases and test procedures
Execute test plans for both new applications and existing systems
Perform a range of test types including functional, regression, UI, volume, and integration testing
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA leads to ensure accurate and complete test coverage
Log defects clearly and track them through resolution
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Support release cycles and provide QA sign-off for production deployments
Optionally assist with the maintenance and review of automated scripts
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
5–7 years of experience in software QA, with a strong focus on manual testing of web-based applications
5+ years of experience developing and executing test cases and test plans
Hands-on experience with:
Azure DevOps / TFS for test and defect tracking
Postman for API validation
SQL or PL/SQL for backend validation and data integrity checks
Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum processes and software development lifecycles
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Exposure to test automation tools such as Selenium with C# is a plus, but not required
