Role : Senior Python Backend Developer
Location: NYC, NY
Client : Fortress Investment Group (FIG)
Duration: 12 Months
MOI : Telephonic & Skype
Primary Skills: Azure, SQL, Python, Rest API, GCP
This is a 12-month contract role that requires H1 & Citizens only with a Minimum of 12 Years of Experience. This is an Onsite/Hybrid Model, and we Need Locals within a 50-mile radius only.
Candidates must have Financial Experience.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
Integrate with cloud-based infrastructure and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend performance
Required Skills:
Strong proficiency in Python (7+ years of hands-on experience)
Solid understanding of REST APIs, data structures, and algorithms
Experience with backend frameworks such as Django, Flask, or Fast API
Working experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
