Role: Workday Payroll Consultant
Contract
Location: remote
Visa: Only USC, GC , H1b and H4 EAD
Experience Needed: 10+ Years
Certification as Mandatory
Lead or support the payroll workstream during Workday implementation projects, ensuring a smooth process and accurate configuration.
Work closely with clients to understand payroll requirements, advise on the best use of Workday, and ensure that payroll processes meet legal, regulatory, and business needs.
Create and update Workday Payroll configurations to reflect evolving client requirements, ensuring system accuracy and optimization.
Provide ongoing support for regular and special payroll processes in Workday, including posting, bank transfers, paychecks, and tax-related reports
Support year-end payroll processes, including year-end reporting and tax filing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Research and resolve day-to-day issues in Workday Payroll, ensuring minimal disruption to payroll operations.
Ensure that all payroll activities comply with local, regional, and global legal and regulatory requirements.
Manage small on and off-shore functional teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and timely delivery.
Architect Workday Payroll solutions that are cohesive across workstreams and mitigate cross-functional impacts.
Advise clients on industry standards, best practices, and innovative approaches to payroll management within Workday.
Demonstrate design options to clients through prototyping, offering insights into optimal payroll solutions.
Provide regular status updates to the Project Manager, ensuring project milestones and deliverables are met.
Contribute to innovation by developing new industry-leading methods, assets, and approaches to improve payroll processes and Workday functionality.
Demonstrate strong client and stakeholder management skills, fostering positive relationships and achieving project objectives.
