Location: Des Moines, IA

 

Responsibilities:

 

·         The BA/BSA works with client business analysts and SMEs to develop, review, and clarify business requirements for the project.

·         Develop functional requirements and facilitate reviews with Business and stakeholders and all project participants as needed.

·         Provide clarifications to configuration, development, and test teams as needed.

·         Review test plans and scenarios and provides support for UAT and defect resolution as needed. If assigned a client BSA, structures that analyst’s time and tasks on the project to contribute to the project BSA deliverables and learn for support readiness post go-live.

·         Ensure the correct stakeholders are actively collaborate with project manager and stakeholders to clarify understanding of high- level business needs and requirements.

·         Analyze, model, and document detailed requirements by using a variety of elicitation techniques, understanding business processes, alignment, and technology.

 

 

·         Manage and facilitate requirements change decisions by using traceability tools and techniques, prioritization techniques, approval processes, and requirements change management processes.

·         Be a thought leadership/Lead role that will likely oversee and manage the work of other BSAs (both employees and contractors).

 

Requirements:

·         Must have 3-10 years of BA or BSA experience

·         Must have Agile experience, SAFe experience preferred

·         Strong business systems analyst experience with previous experience using various techniques such as: business and technical process mapping, analyzing and documenting as-is and to-be, workshops, job shadowing, interviews, etc.

·         Excellent requirements elicitation experience

·         Strong previous experience with requirements documentation in the form of user stories with acceptance criteria

·         Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and influence others.

·         Ability and willingness to follow Wellmark requirements standards and follow the direction of a mentor.

·         Exceptional planning and facilitation skills

·         Ability to work independently or in a team with the ability to juggle multiple projects at one time.

·         Experience documenting and following a requirements/analysis work plan.

·         Strong analytic skills with a curious mind.

·         Ability to problems solve with little or no direction and recommend solutions.​
