Location: New York, NY 10038 (Hybrid – 2–3 days/week onsite)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance to support both onshore and offshore teams. . The ideal candidate will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, including offshore BPO and IT teams, and must have a working knowledge of policy-related functions and hands-on experience in testing.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements.
Act as a bridge between the onshore business units and offshore IT/BPO teams to ensure a clear understanding of deliverables.
Translate business needs into functional specifications, process flows, and technical documentation.
Conduct system and user acceptance testing (UAT); create test cases, perform testing, and validate results.
Identify and analyze gaps or inefficiencies in business processes and propose solutions.
Facilitate stakeholder meetings, requirement walkthroughs, and status updates.
Provide ongoing support for production issues and change requests.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum 9 years of experience as a Business Analyst within the P&C Insurance domain.
Working knowledge of policy administration processes.
Experience working with offshore delivery models and cross-functional, geographically distributed teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficient in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Office, and other BA tools.
Hands-on experience in functional/system testing and UAT. 

Preferred Skills:
Experience with Guidewire or similar policy administration platforms.
Familiarity with claims systems and insurance operations workflows. 
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
