Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Azure DevOps Engineer with a background in firmware development and Python programming to join our engineering team. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for embedded systems projects, streamline development workflows, and collaborate closely with firmware and software teams to ensure high-quality, reliable, and secure code delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for firmware and embedded system projects.
Automate firmware build, test, and deployment processes using Python and other scripting tools.
Collaborate with firmware, software, and QA teams to ensure smooth integration and testing of firmware components.
Manage source control, branching strategies, and release workflows using Git, Azure Repos, or GitHub.
Monitor and optimize build and test performance for embedded codebases.
Ensure compliance with security and quality standards in embedded software development pipelines.
Maintain documentation for DevOps processes, tools, and workflows.
 

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree.
3+ years of experience in DevOps roles with a focus on Azure DevOps.
Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and test development.
Solid experience with CI/CD tools, pipelines, and environments.
Familiarity with build systems for firmware (e.g., CMake, Make, SCons).
Strong understanding of Git-based source control and branching strategies.
Good understanding of software quality practices, including automated testing and code analysis.
 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes.
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Administrator Associate.
