Job/title: LIMS Developer
Location: San Francisco CA, San Juan Capistrano, CA
Job description:
Develop workflows for molecular genetics testing and deploy to laboratory informatics systems
Ensure availability, performance, and scalability of workflows
Work closely with bioinformatics engineers and lab and R&D scientists to gather and implement requirements for the automation framework
Support testing requirements
Build and maintain code that interacts with a 3rd party vendor application
To qualify, the ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
B.S. in Bioengineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 10+ years of experience
3+ years of experience working in a regulated industrial life sciences environment or equivalent
Proficient in PHP, and Laravel or Symphony framework
Proficient with SQL Backend processes
LIMS Experience Must have
Familiar with building UI's with PHP and Symphony/Laravel
Experience in using version control tools, eg. Gitlab
Experience working in containerized environments, eg Docker
Demonstrated ability to work with vendor APIs or internal APIs for integration and development work
Experience to develop APIs in MuleSoft is a plus
Experience in working in Healthcare or Molecular Genetics is a plus.
Familiar with working in a Linux environment
Demonstrated ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with laboratory personal and R&D scientists
Demonstrated ability to innovate.
