TITLE: SR. MOBILE APPLICATION DEVELOPER (ANDROID)
LOCATION: 100% REMOTE (REDWOOD CITY, CA)
DURATION: LONG TERM ON C2C
JOB SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Build, ship, and own new features in our Android app.
* Own technical design and development of new mobile app features.
* Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and team members.
* Navigate the complexities of building with new and evolving technologies in the consumer space.
* Move fast and challenge assumptions
* Experience with Android frameworks
* Familiar with Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
* Knowledgeable of clouds message API and push notifications_
* Full-stack hands-on mobile development for native mobile app design and implementation (IOS and Android), including system analysis, test-driven application development, test automation, code review, and application maintenance support.
* Keeping up to date on new technology, standards, protocols, and tools in areas relevant to the rapidly changing digital environment.
* Troubleshoot debug and fix issues in production and non-production environments.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
* Masters or bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
* At least 4+ yrs. direct exp in Android development, mobile solution design and implementation.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
* Exp in native mobile app development (Android);
* Act as a subject matter expert for Android development.
* Hands-on development experience with cross-platform display and performance optimization.
* in test-driven development and test automation.
* Familiarity with Digital health products and standards
