Role:  Hadoop Admin 

Location: Richmond, VA

Contract 

Required:

• 5+ years of experience as Hadoop Admin on any of the popular Hadoop platforms  (Cloudera, Hortonworks, AWS EMR, Azure HDinsight, etc.)
• Must be proficient in using tools (or developing scripts) to monitor and alert on wide range of issues on cluster
• Must have expertise and ability to keep the Hadoop cluster available and provide optimum performance
• Hadoop development is big plus (MapReduce, Pig, Hive, Impala, Phoenix, Oozie, Zookeeper, Sqoop, etc.)
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills
