Mandatory skills: API Automation with any automation tool, SOAP UI/ Postman tool, HTTP Protocols & Methods

 

Job description:

 

Develop detailed test plans, scripts and cases based upon requirements and workflows.
Conduct automated, manual test of products, enhancements, or releases as per plans.
Report defects participate in defect resolution and compile test results for reporting.
Attend and participate in meetings to review test plans and test cases to ensure accuracy and completion of documentation.
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
Liaise with customer/ project teams to identify system requirements.
Expertise in automation and manual testing (functional / system integration testing).

 

Must have skills:

8+ Yrs. of experience in API automation with any automation tool
Experience in SOAP UI / Postman tool.
Sound Knowledge on HTTP Protocols and Methods.
Experience in building an Automation Framework.
Experience using Jira, Confluence, and Zephyr.
Expected to be a pivotal member of Agile development team working closely with developers to drive automation strategy.
Strong Knowledge and experience on all phases of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and QALC (Quality Assurance Life Cycle).
Knowledge on AWS and DevOps tools (Azure, Jenkins etc.)
Ability to coordinate and work with globally distributed teams.
Be individual contributors capable of taking up tasks from start to end with minimal assistance.
Be able to understand the software internals, debug issues, and write automated tests with scripting and automation tools.
Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
Must have the ability and desire to quickly learn new skills and technologies.
Demonstrable ability to create, execute and manage scripts from scratch.
Track and communicate test results in a timely, effective, and automated manner.
Excellent team player, self-driven and proactive.

Knowledge of performance Testing is a plus.
