Title: React Developer
Location: New York City, NY
Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Job Description:
We need a resource with web development and JavaScript programming experience. At this time, we need a resource for the next 6 months to assist in the build out of a new web experience. The web experience is expected to offer more flexibility and a better user experience than the current Excel Templates, but key features supported in Excel have not been built out yet in the web experience, making the Excel Templates the more viable option. Currently we do not have an internal resource with bandwidth to support the volume of work.

Required skills:
• Bachelors / Master’s degree in a, especially Computer Science-related
• Coding skills in JS / React / Node.js (Advanced in at least one of the languages mentioned here, beginner in others is fine)
• 5+ years’ experience building web applications to support user workflows
• Experience with web backend integration, including RESTful web services, messaging, user authentication / entitlements, SVG objects, JSON data management, and user session / preferences management
• Experience with web UI / UX design, including web form layout & styling, table / grid design, data visualization / charting, and dynamic UI updates.
• Interest in learning data visualization techniques to improve story telling in pitch books
